Best Boy was produced from a photograph of a freshly circumcised Massai boy who seems to be looking forward to the day he can circumcise a boy himself, and so the baton is passed on. This is the dangerous aspect of our humanity. Vengeance can be so sanctimoniously applied and passed on.
