This Angel Crashes
Dark and dismal
this empty barren room
without her soul
maybe shell return soon.
Curtains whip in the wind
lightning crashes
all the things, I have sinned
in my mind mashes.
My Angel of hope
shuts her eyes
oh how she mopes
in all my anguished lies.
Cancerous, thickening air
getting hard to swallow
the burden which I bare.
As I wonder in this self-pity wallow.
The Angel opens her eyes
hope streams in through the window
letting out deafening sighs
though Im as low Hell and even below.
My eyes blinded by her light
hearts leaping for joy
a marvelous feeling and sight.
for every girl or boy.
Lightning crashes
as she withdraws from my room.
Upon my wrists deep gashes.
Now there is no light, stars or moon.
Again darkened and dismald
this empty barren room.
Remembering my morose load,
praying shell come back soon.
