GRATEFUL
							  
				I am looking out my window at a bitter cold day
				Basked in the grateful warmth of a beautiful home
				I smile at the changes and additions 
				As I notice the appearance of yet 2 more dazzling cut crystals
				Perched on the middle ledge of my office window
				The ledge below already full with its' lineup of
				Mineral rocks and spheres and shapes
				Sitting upon more mineral spheres, shapes and crystal salts
				An elephant God with it's foot upon a skull 
				And it's hand holding out a platter 
				With a milky stone offering
				A handmade button with a painted Raven
				Drums and feathers
				Art, Angels and a Macaw named Merlin
				Photos of family and friends
				In various odd colored frames
				Mixed with recent photos of myself and Alan
				A wizardry mystery
				 
				Radiant, Glowing, Happy
				 
				Multiple gold statue awards
				A picture of a billboard of me
				Reminders of a past suddenly dropped
				Remnants of outward success
				 
				The view of this small town street
				With its' bounty of majestic black and brown wintered trees 
				Standing tall against a muted silver grey sky
				A lone bird soaring above stark and bold
				A Buddha statue atop a magnificent crystal quartz boulder
				Cairns of rocks artfully placed
				Amidst a garden of new life and rocks with faces
				And healing energies
				All surrounding with love and magic
				 
				And I feel blessed
				 
				For all that has happened
				Even for my darkest hours
				I would not change them
				What once was cold, dreary and isolated
				Is now calm, comforting and simple
				What once was loss
				Now fills me with gratitude
				What once was fear
				Is now excitement for the moment
				An appreciation for this journey
				And a passion for creation
				 
				I feel grateful for all the friends I have made
				For the laughter shared
				And the knowledge learned
				For new paths taken and old paths parted
				 
				I thank you

				I wish for a world
				Filled with Magic and Wonder
				And Awe
				May each moment be a new adventure
				May each adventure be a new beginning
				And may each beginning be filled with love
