Traditions, stories, legends, and healing are the powerful forces descending on the
participants of the Sweat Lodge Ceremony. The medicineman points out that the lodge has a
will of its own even directing him as he learns or stumbles blindly. Good intentions sent out,
healing breathed in, breath like fire to the skin the rocks nestled in Mother Earth's breast
send healing up in their glow. Sitting in the communal spirit gives a luminance that can only
be seen in the minds eye we all bow to the creator and our spirits are raised.   |
