Bath Time is a portrait in oil of my grandfather. This was part of a study I did while at
Vermont College to see if there was any sexual abuse in my past. I think there was, but in the final
analysis, I believe it was three generations back on my mother's side. I found that my grandfather, a
usually benign gentleman, was capable of violence during an isolated incidence, but not sexual
abuse. The natives speak of the decisions of today affecting seven generations into the future. This
is what I found as I searched back to my Great Grandmother.    |
