Earth Mother represents the strong mother principle of the tribe. The intense male yellow energy is no threat to this matriarch who is wrapped in soft feminine blue and rooted to the healing earth with green. The purple headband is a holy colour that adds to her compassion.

The subject of the pastel is from a photo of a Piegan woman named Two Bear Woman, by Edward Sheriff Curtis. The pastel is approximately 17.5"X22.5" and is mounted on a Dark Green Mat and framed with wood. Completed Fall 1992. $800.00 Can. framed.
