Toaster Face
is a portrait of my better part, my wife. When we first met we had long conversations,
holding each other. Her arms would become tired as she leaned over me and she would wind up perching nose to nose. To me, it looked like I was
looking into the curved surface of a toaster, so for a while I called her toaster-face. I portrayed her with a yellow aura which
blends into green healing, blue expression, and purple spirituality.
The oil is approximately 24"X30". Completed Fall 1991. $1200.00 Can. unframed.
